The Perfect Getaway – Mbuyuni Farm Retreat
Located four hours from Dar es Salaam Mbuyuni Farm Retreat offers a relaxing country experience. Our three bungalows, each for a family of up to four, are located in a quiet and peaceful setting and are surrounded by beautiful gardens. Two bungalows have kitchens for guests who prefer to cater for themselves. You are welcome to stroll around the farm and watch the activities or explore the farm’s forested areas which include many bird species (we have established three walking trails of varying lengths). Birdwatchers have identified over 230 species so far!
The magnificent Uluguru Mountains fill the horizon and are great for hiking. Mikumi National Park is one and half hours away from Mbuyuni Farm Retreat — perfect for a day trip. Or just relax at the pool right outside the cottages, play a game of volleyball or enjoy a game of golf or tennis at the nearby Morogoro Gymkhana Club.
How to find Mbuyuni Farm Retreat
Coming from Dar es Salaam turn off right at Kingolwira Village (the last village before Morogoro Town). There is a large mosque with a green roof at the beginning of the village (S 06 32’ 05”; EO 37 26’ 39”), follow the line of mango trees and then the white arrows marked on rocks. After about 3km you cross a small bridge and you are on the farm (S 06 44’ 47”; EO 37 45’ 16”). KARIBUNI!
